PROGRAM:
It is not surprising that many area youngsters who play soccer want
to become “Raiders” -- a team with an established winning
tradition. The Raider Boys’ Team has appeared in twelve GROUP
III State Championships winning 7 state titles. We will provide a
unique soccer environment in which players aspire to learn and
gain confidence while playing the game of soccer. Players will be
encouraged to challenge themselves, master the ball, and be a
student of the game.
“LADY RAIDER SOCCER CAMP”
Concurrent with our overall camp, we will be running a “Lady Raider
Soccer Camp.” This part of our instruction will challenge the skill
level of each girl and is especially designed for girls in Grades 7-11.
“SPECIAL GOALKEEPERS PROGRAM”
This feature of our camp is designed for those players who wish to
focus on and improve their goalkeeping skills and is for Grades 3-11.
HOW WILL MY CHILD FIT IN?
A special program is planned for players in Grades 1-4. For these
campers, the day will begin at 9:00 am and end at 12:00 pm. For
those in Grades 5-11, a full day of soccer is planned beginning at 9:00
am and ending at 3:00 pm. These players are asked to bring a
bagged lunch with them each day, but lunches and snacks will be sold
as well. Advanced placement of students within the camp will only be
made after review by the Directors. Most players will be divided into
the following categories: Grades 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 and 9-11.
A 4th Grader may attend the full-day session only with the
permission of the Directors. If interested in this option, please make
a note on your application and we will contact you.
10 THINGS TO THINK ABOUT WHEN SENDING YOUR CHILD TO A SOCCER CAMP IN A PARK
1. Where do they go when its lightning or raining?
2. How do they get out of the 90 degree heat of the summer?
3. Is the environment safe and secure?
4. Where do campers eat or store their lunches?
5. Is there cold water available to drink during the day?
6. Are there phones available to call in or out in case of emergency?
7. Does the camp have a certified medical person on staff and readily available?
8. Is the field safe and free of hazards?
9. Has the staff ever worked with children of your child’s age?
10. Is the camp fully insured?
FEES
Grades 1-4: $140.00 per session; $260.00 for both sessions.
Grades 5-9: $190.00 per session; $360.00 for both sessions.
Furthermore, an additional discount of $10.00 per child will be
granted to those families sending more than one child to camp.
However, because of our discount policies, please observe that we will
only offer one ball and one T-shirt per camper, even if a child attends both
sessions
